International Purchase Amamax welcome to international orders from most countries. Please review the following policies and procedures carefully before ordering.
Most international orders take slightly more time to verify. Please look out for an e-mail from our order department for the information we will need to verify. International Airmail shipments are sent with a US Customs label and have very limited tracking information. International orders can take three (2) weeks or longer to arrive. If available, use a credit card that has address verification (AVS) available. Credit Cards with AVS features are usually issued by Major Banks. American Express cards are preferred, but not required to process your order. We do accept international credit cards, however, they MUST contain a CVV2/CVC code in the signature panel on the back of the credit card. This is a 3-digit number on a Visa or Mastercard. If possible, use the same shipping and billing address. This helps expedite the verification process more quickly. All sales are final, No refunds, exchanges, or credits. We Report Fraud We report ALL fraudulent and suspected fraudulent transactions to the local consulate office of the United States of America along with proper authorities in your own country for their investigation. We take fraud seriously and verify information for your protection and ours. Any suspected fraud using a credit card will be reported to the proper credit card companies and local bank.
The preferred payment method is via credit card. In most cases, we need to verify your address and banking information including the name of your bank, credit card number, and a set of numbers on the back of the credit card. The fastest way to pay for your International Order is using your American Express, Master Card and Vis Card to pay for your purchase. This will allow us to automatically verify your address with Credit Card Company.
Another form of payment is via PayPal. PayPal is a convenient way to "e-mail money" to someone. International Verified PayPal users are welcome to make purchases from our company as long as you have a PayPal account. With PayPal, we can bill you in the currency of your choice. PayPal accepts Canadian Dollars, British Pounds Sterling, Euros, Japanese Yen, and of course, US Dollars. International Order Restrictions & Waiver For most of our International orders, our customers have no problems ordering with us. We provide these restrictions and waiver so you know what to expect if a problem is to arise.
1) We cannot be responsible for any tariffs, customs restrictions, or other regulations that apply in countries outside the United States. We encourage you to speak with your customs office if you have any questions. The customer is responsible for any duties or taxes that may apply. 2) Do not order items that are illegal to import into your country. Laws are different in every country and we cannot keep up with them all. It is the customer's responsibility to check with their Customs office to see if their country permits the shipment of our products to their country. 4) If for any reason the package is seized by Customs Officials, or not claimed or delivered, we will not issue a refund unless all products are returned to us in their original condition. If the order is returned to us for ANY reason, the customer is still responsible for any shipping charges. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. If your package is returned, we will contact you to determine how you want to handle it. 5) The customer pays set shipping charges based on the country of destination, excessive item fee and weight of the package. If you select the wrong shipping option on the order form, Amamax has the right to change the shipping option to reflect the correct amount added onto the total order or initiate a separate transaction charging the difference. 99% of international orders will not exceed the shipping charges listed above. A bulk of the shipping charge is due to manual processing of the order and filling out the appropriate documentation. 5) By placing an order with Amamax.com, you waive all rights to recourse with your credit card company if your order does not arrive. We recommend waiting at least 3 weeks from your order date before contacting us to start investigating. Some countries have very slow postal systems and this extra time is required.
Order Process & Delivery Time All packages are processed in a first come first served basis. It may take up to 3 business days. When possible Amamax will include all items in one box. Items such as monitors, cases, complete systems, merchandise with an irregular shape, and large orders may require multiple boxes for shipping. Please note that all orders received after 12:00 PM
will be processed on the next business day. Weekend and holidays are not counted in the delivery time. For instance, if you ship a package on Friday with Next-Day Air shipping method, the normal delivery time is Monday. FedEx UPS or DHL does not deliver on Saturdays or Holidays.
Shipping to an Alternate Address? New Customer? During Checkout, you can add a shipping address other than your billing address. To protect the security of your credit card if your order is shipping to an address that is not the same as the billing address on your credit card, you may be asked to list the alternate address with your credit card company. Doing this in advance will speed up the processing of your order. To place an alternate address on file with your credit card, simply call the 800 number on the back of your credit card provider to add alternate the address on your account. Otherwise just complete the order form as usual. The verification service may contact you by email
or phone, so please reply promptly in order to allow us to complete your order in a timely manner. This process may take up to 2 - 3 extra business day.
Security is our number one priority. All on-line transactions are sent through our secure server and encrypted with 128-bit technology. Once we receive your information through the internet, only trusted, authorized employees will process the payment to make sure your information is handled with the utmost level security.
A reasonable attempt is made to match or beat all the features of the item being sold. Certain items, such as power supplies, have minute differences in their ratings, but their gross specs may be greater. We will not give a cheaper but similar product in any case without first crediting that savings to the customer.
The minimum order for a transaction to be completed is $15 dollars. This rate is set to help keep order management reasonable.
A 20% restocking fee applies to all refunded items. Shipping charges are non-refundable. No refunds after 30 days. We do this to insure that people order what they need, and by reducing overhead associated with perfectly good returns; we can pass the savings on to our customers. The buyer must arrange for receipt of the product. If you will not be available at the shipping address when the carrier comes to deliver, please coordinate a solution with the carrier. All returned or refused shipments are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee to the buyer. There will be an additional fee to the buyer for incorrect or mistyped shipping addresses for reshipping of an order. If a package is refused upon delivery, the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges incurred for the return of the item. Charges will be applied to any refund due to refusal, even if the order is placed during free shipping. This policy does not apply to any merchandise that is received incorrect items, defective or damaged.
All items are sent to the customer as we receive them. In some cases, items may be available in both OEM and retail packages. All items purchased from us should be considered OEM product unless the item is listed specifically as being a retail boxed item. OEM or BULK - Intended for system builders and only come with the minimal packaging, documentation, and software. No manufacturer warranty. RETAIL BOX - Commercially packaged product with full documentation and software carrying a warranty from the manufacturer.
Missing items or damaged during shipping Please check the package as soon as the shipment arrived. Some item may drop ship direct from our Vendor. These items often arrive separately. Contact us ASAP Items damaged in shipping to our customers should be retained by the customer so that a damage claim can be made to the shipping agent and NOT returned to us unless we specifically request it. Not every item in our catalogue is available for same day pickup, and some lead time may be required. For your convenience it is recommended that you call ahead to verify your order has been processed. There is no additional charge for personal pickup. When picking up your order a picture ID is necessary and, if applicable, the credit card used to make the purchase is required.
Taxes are applied to residents of
Texasat the rate set by the Harris County Tax District. The current tax rate is 8.25%. Out of state customers are exempted from sales tax when purchases are made online. Resellers and other entities that operate under Tax-ID may purchase items tax free upon completion of our reseller application. Government agencies may also make purchases tax free. All products are sold with manufacturer's limited warranty. If the merchandise happens to be dead-on-arrival (DOA), we will replace it. We must be notified of defect within 3 days after your received the merchandise. Defective items will be replaced with the same item.

Some items when specifically stated may come with a maximum of a 30-Day replacement warranty. CPU?s purchased with a system board will be granted a one year replacement only warranty if the system assembly fee is paid.

Immediate replacement upon determination of faulty product by RMA department. This replacement will be with a new product if possible, or repaired and or refurbished if new product is unavailable.
90 Days ? 1 Year
Upon determination of faulty product by the RMA department, Amamax will replace item based on availability. In some situations due to availability customers may be given the option to choose fair market value for the defective product and choose a current market substitution and additional cost may be incurred. Amamax will not force a substitution of a product but additional time for RMA replacement maybe required. In some cases customers may be encouraged to deal directly with the manufacturer for replacement as often the mfg. warranty is longer than the one year warranty provided by Amamax and their return window is dramatically shorter as well.
1 ? Year Warranty
All new items except when specifically excluded by information listed with the product come with a 90 day to One year replacement warranty. CPUs do not initially include a one-year warranty unless they are purchased with a motherboard and an assembly fee is paid. This guarantees that for one year items purchased from Amamax will be defect free. If during that one year period an item ceases to function due to manufacturer or mechanical defects Amamax will replace the item upon receipt by our RMA department.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Select item(s) when explicitly stated carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in manufacturing or materials that result in merchandise ceasing to function or functioning erratically. This warranty does not cover wear and tear, nor does it cover abuse, neglect, or anything that would void an active manufacturer warranty. The period of this warranty is considered the lifetime of the product while active and or available on the market. After one year, items may be subject to market forces, such as advances in technology, shortages, and revisions over which Amamax can exert no control. This warranty is a non-transferable and binding only towards the replacement of the item as long as it remains available on the open market. If an item more than two years old exceeds a margin of 25% higher than the original purchase price to replace it, it is no longer covered by this warranty.
Refurbished items will be sold with individual specific warranties limited to replacement only unless otherwise specified. In some cases refurbished items may be sold with no warranty in an as-is status. The only replacement available for covered items is protection against DOA.

When such a glitch occurs items may reflect inaccurate pricing, and we will work to correct it as fast as possible. We will not honor pricing caused by a glitch that places the item well below our cost, and we do appreciate customers pointing out pricing they feel may be erroneous. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: In all circumstances Amamax/MHL Computer Systems, Inc's maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the products sold. Amamax/MHL Computer Systems shall not, under any circumstances, be liable upon a claim of action in contract, tort, indemnity or contribution, or other claims relating to the products it sells which exceeds this liability limit. Amamax/MHL Computer Systems shall not be liable for third party claims for damages against the customer, or for malfunction, delays, interruption of service, loss of business, loss or damage to exemplary damages, whether or net Amamax is apprised of the possibility of such claims or damages.
POLICY AGAINST COUNTERFEIT PRODUCTS: Amamax does not intentionally, willingly, or knowingly buy, sell, distribute or manufacturer any counterfeit products, hardware or software, that are in violation of US copyright or trademark laws. We require all of our venders and manufacturers to make the same pledge. TITLE; RISK OF LOSS: Amamax/MHL Computer will arrange for shipment of ordered product(s) to the Customer, Free On board (F.O.B.) shipping point, meaning title to the product(s) and risk of loss passes to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier. Amamax reserves a purchase money security interest in the product(s) until its receipt of the full amount due, and insures products against damage for this reason. Customers are expected to provide a reasonably secure delivery environment and are required to notify us if an unsafe delivery environment exists where products may be stolen before delivery. Customer agrees to allow Amamax to sign appropriate documents on Customer's behalf to permit Amamax to protect its purchase money security interest. All software is provided subject to the license agreement of the software maker. Customer agrees to be bound by any software license agreement once the seal on the shipping package is broken. Amamax will advise Customer of estimated shipping dates, but Amamax will, under no circumstances, be responsible for delays in delivery, and associated damages, due to events beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, acts of God or public enemy, acts of federal, state or local government, fire, floods, civil disobedience, strikes, lockouts, and freight embargoes.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION: Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions or the sales transaction between Amamax/MHL Computer and Customer shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflicts of law rules. Specifically, the validity, interpretation, and performance of this agreement shall not be governed by the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods. Amamax/MHL Computer and Customer consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and the venue of the State Courts of the State of Texas, HarrisCounty, to resolve any dispute between them related hereto, and the parities waive all rights to contest this exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such Courts. Finally, the Customer also agrees not to bring any legal action, based upon any legal theory including contract, tort, and equity or otherwise, against Amamax/MHL Computer that is more than one year after the date of the applicable invoice.
SEVERABILITY: If any provision contained in this agreement is or becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in whole or in part, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions and portions of this agreement, and the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified so as to have the most similar result that is valid and enforceable under applicable Texas law.
WAIVER: The failure of either party to require performance by the other party of any provision of this agreement shall not affect in any way the first party's right to require such performance at any time thereafter. Any waiver by either party of a breach of any provision in this agreement shall not be taken or held by the other party to be a continuing waiver of that provision unless such waiver is made in writing.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT: These terms and conditions, together with the Amamax//MHL Computer's invoice respecting the products ordered by Customer, are the complete and exclusive agreement between Amamax Computer and Customer, and they supersede all prior or contemporaneous proposals, oral or written, understandings, representations, conditions, warranties, and all other communications between Amamax and Customer relating to the subject products. This agreement may not be explained or supplemented by any prior course of dealings or trade by custom or usage.
PROPOSITION 65 WARNING for California Residents: As a reseller, Amamax is not aware of whether any particular product contains any specific chemical known to State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. California customers are encouraged to check manufacturer’s website and/or read any notices on the product from the manufacturer to verify if the product has such problems before purchasing or using this product. As a general precaution, some circuit boards, especially those without RoHS certification, may contain solder that has lead as a component. Always avoid skin or food contact with any circuit boards. Always wash your hands after handling any circuit boards. De-soldering such circuit board is not recommended nor does it make any economic sense. If you have to do it, avoid inhalation of any fumes.
