The PT1000 is a small light weight teleprompting system. It uses an 8" LCD monitor attached to our unique mounting arm. The arm then attaches to the shoemount of your camera and the monitor sits on top of the lens

The PT1000 is a small and light portable teleprompter kit. It mounts to the
 hotshoe  on your camera and is light enough to be shoulder mounted. You dont  have to deal with the big bulky mirrors of traditional teleprompters that cost double
 or triple the price of a PT1000. It also features VGA and Video inputs. It comes  included with a copy of our own Prompter Pro 2.0 teleprompting software.

Mounting Rod This is rod allows you to mount the monitor to your camera's shoemount. It is adjustable so you can use many types of cameras.

Monitor Bracket This bracket attaches to your monitor so you can mount it to the Mounting Rod.   AV Cables Allow you to connect two composite sources, one audio source, one s-vide source, and a VGA source to our monitor .   VGA Cable This cable connects to the AV cables which allow you to use your computer to feed the image to the teleprompter.   AC Adapter 12 volt AC adapter so you can power your monitor from any outlet .   DC Adapter 12 volt DC adapter that will allow you to connect the monitor to a Car Cigarette Lighter   Table Stand / Wall Mount Used to mount the monitor on a table or on a wall.   Remote Control Wirelessly control the functions of the monitor.   PrompterPro 2.0 Fully funcitonal Teleprompting software needed to use the PT1000.

FAQ

Q: Do I need a Laptop / Computer to use the PT1000?

A: Yes, a computer is required for the PrompterPro Software.

Q: I cannot seem to get my PT1000 to show the script.

A: Make sure that you hooked up the monitor to you desktop or laptop and have enabled clone / mirror mode in the display properties. You should be able to see the same exact image on you desktop or laptop monitor on the PT1000.

Q: What is the USB connector on the VGA cable of my PT1000 for?

A: Absolutely nothing. There is no need to connect it to anything. The VGA cable for the PT1000 is the same on used for the V8000T. On the V8000T the USB connector is for the touch screen capabilities.

Q: Will the PT1000 work on my Sony camera?

A: Sony cameras ship with a shoe mount adapter that the PT1000 can mount to.

Q: Can I use the monitor included with the PT1000 as a video monitor when not in use as a teleprompter?

A: Absolutely! That's one of the cool features of the PT1000. Versatility.
