JVC Now Introduces the EXAD-series KD-AVX33, KD-ADV38, KD-AVX11 and KW-AVX800 DVD/CD Receivers with Built-In Monitors
JVC is expanding its high-end EXAD lineup by introducing KD-AVX33 and KD-ADV38 (3.5-inch wide monitor), KD-AVX11 (2.7-inch wide monitor) and KW-AVX800 (2-DIN, 7-inch wide touch panel monitor) DVD/CD receivers with built-in color TFT monitors. All units can display DVD movies, DivX® video files, and JPEG digital stills.
The KD-AVX33, KD-ADV38, and KW-AVX800 feature Rear USB port with 1.2 meter cable in the box and 5.1-channel surround sound decoders. All four models are ready for iPod® and SAT radio.
The KD-AVX33 and KD-ADV38 also feature built-in Bluetooth® Wireless Technology, while the other two models are Bluetooth Ready with the optional KS-BTA200 adaptor.

Bluetooth® Wireless Technology
Bluetooth®
Wireless Technology is built into the KD-AVX33 and KD-ADV38, and available with
an optional adapter (KS-BTA200) for the KD-AVX11 and KW-AVX800. A maximum of
five compatible mobile phones can be registered for hands-free calling. With
voice-recognition mobile phones, you can dial by just saying the name in your
phone book. The wireless functions work even if your mobile phone is tucked away
in your bag or pocket. You can also stream music from a compatible digital audio
player, for listening on your car stereo.
DivX® Video Files
These systems are DivX® Ultra
Certified products, and can play PC-created DivX® video files on a DivX® can fit
up to 10 movies onto 1 DVD, or 1 movie onto 1 CD, without sacrificing picture
quality.USB memory or DVD/CD. The powerful compression of
Ready for iPod®
You can listen to iPod music
with an optional KS-PD100 adapter. The iPod can be controlled from the head
unit, and song information is displayed with the same categories and layers as
an iPod.
MPEG 1/MPEG 2 Playback
The systems can play MPEG
1 and MPEG 2 video files burned on DVD or CD. TV programs recorded from a PC, or
personal footage from digital camcorders, can be viewed without the hassles of
authoring or decoding.
JPEG Pictures
JPEG digital still photos can be
displayed on their own or as slideshows.
Setup/Control With the Multi-Functional
Monitor
You can use the built-in monitor to set the system's parameters
(EQ, balance, fader, etc.). Operation is easy with user-friendly interface and
controls. Searching through music folders with GIGA MP3 MULTI is also a
snap.
GIGA MP3 MULTI - Play MP3, WMA, and WAV Files Burned on
DVD
These systems feature GIGA MP3 MULTI, which plays MP3, WMA, or WAV
files burned on DVD. With MP3 and WMA files, the 4.7GB capacity of a DVD can
store up to 2,500 songs on a single disc-equal to 250 pre-recorded CDs. If you
want even more superior sound quality, WAV files can be burned onto a DVD. WAV
is an uncompressed PC music file format that delivers CD-quality sound. A single
DVD disc can store 100 WAV files-equal to 10 pre-recorded CDs. Now you can enjoy
non-stop entertainment with CD-quality sound, without an additional CD
changer.

UNIQUE FEATURES
KW-AVX800-2-DIN multimedia receiver
Built-in 7-Inch Wide Touch Panel Monitor
Movies
and TV programs are shown with superb clarity on the 7-inch wide monitor of this
double-DIN system. Operation is easy, with a user-friendly touch panel and GUI
(Graphical User Interface). The disc slot and SD card slot are neatly hidden
behind the monitor.
SD Card Slot
The KW-AVX800 has a built-in SD
card slot, for playing music files (MP3/WMA/WAV/AAC*) or viewing JPEG still
photos on the 7-inch wide screen.

KD-AVX33, KD-ADV38, and KW-AVX800
DVD-Audio
The KD-AVX33, KD-ADV38 and KW-AVX800
are one of the few models in the lineup that can play DVD-Audio. DVD-Audio far
exceeds CD sound quality by using sampling and quantization bit rates several
times higher than CDs.
USB
The KD-AVX33, KD-ADV38 and KW-AVX800 feature
advanced USB functions, allowing connection with an HDD, USB memory, and digital
audio players for playback of MP3/WMA/WAV/AAC* audio files and DivX/JPEG/MPEG1/2
video files. WMA-DRM protected music files can also be played.

compatible with DRM-protected music purchased from the Apple iTunes Music
Store.
5.1ch Digital Surround
The KD-AVX33, KD-ADV38
and KW-AVX800 come with a built-in 5.1ch DTS Digital Surround decoder, which
lets you create a realistic sound field onboard. The Dolby Pro Logic II offers
the same audio excitement for 2-channel stereo sources.
Dual-Zone
With the KD-AVX33, KD-ADV38 or
KW-AVX800 and a separate monitor, rear-seat passengers can enjoy DVDs while you
listen to the radio up front.
Headphone Surround*
The KD-AVX33, KD-ADV38 and
KW-AVX800 feature Headphone Surround, for multi-channel sound via your
headphones. Unlike conventional headphone technologies, JVC's Headphone Surround
creates virtual 'room reverberations,' which feel as if they come from outside
the headphones - just like real surround sound in a large room. Any type of
headphones can be used with this function.
*Available with 5.1-channel
sources or 2ch sources with Dolby Pro Logic II turned on. In both cases,
Headphone Surround only works when Dual Mode is turned on.
